There’s a gap in the landscape that’s a hollowed vein.  The many wilds of this, the people, the prairie—there isn’t anything I could have constructed that was more perfect. 


I don’t know how to write anymore. I’m terrified of being sentimental. If the truest thing you can do is write what you know, how does one write past grief?
